A Note to Anyone who Has read this far!
If you've made it here, We so appreciate your time. You're a real one. For those of you who took the time to read our whole website, you now know why we're one of the best in town. Nobody is perfect, but we've never had an insurance claim and we intend to keep it that way. We do lots of things that every company in Fort Collins we've researched don't include. How could they when they hire out $12-$15 dollar an hour employees and charge too little to begin with? Remember, a person cannot take what a company charges and divide by the number of hours a worker was at the job to produce an hourly rate for an owner, employee, or anyone for that matter.
Every business has overhead. We maximize our profitability by being owner/operators. This is a huge advantage because you get someone who cares much more than an employee who is being paid less than 15 dollars an hour when the business only makes 30% profit; if they are lucky... of the gross sale to begin with. The money with employee run businesses gets spread very thin across all associated costs such as paying employees, owners, supplies, insurance, Vehicle costs, drive time, Website and online marketing, physical flyer marketing, taxes etc. Quality gets lost in this list for employee run businesses.
Between Maya and Tyler, we've worked for 5 different cleaning companies and together have almost 2 decades worth of cleaning experience between the two of us. We use more products, know how and where each one can and cannot be used, and have more tools than any of the companies either of us worked for. We KNOW we're higher value than any of these companies.
Support a local business with a higher quality of work and profit margin. Your money goes further with us in every way. No company run by owner/operators doesn't try to go above and beyond if they truly care about staying in business. There always will be a cheaper fly by night company to hire that wont be in business in 3 years. There's always many companies who will send different people to your home from one week or month to the next. We don't. Its one of our big draws. If you like consistency and reliability, saving money on Plumbers, Window Cleaners, Gutter Cleaners, Dryer Vent Cleaning, and want to know that your personal items are safe along with your pets and home, give us a call. We love animals and usually make great friends with animals who are around while we clean. We even pet-sit for several folks.
A little bit more about us:
We run things a little different than some other companies. If you have an ad on or something that we didn't hit that you want us to hit, just tell us please, we do rely on good communication. We will not take any offense to you letting us know if your expectation about an item is not being hit or missed. There are thousands of cleaning items in a home. Its actually a lot to keep track of. We try to maximize our time in your home so that we stay in profit but also deliver a thorough service every time.
We don't charge cancelation fees unless you cancel on us with a lockout and we cant get ahold of you when we call at your door. In this case we charge a 50% fee of your cleans amount. If you can fit in one of our makeup spots for the week; which we always purposefully keep a couple for this very purpose, we will come back with no added charge, and you pay the other 50% at time of service. We prefer clients who give us a key or a code so that this doesn't happen. We build trust first before we require this, but the clients that last 2+ years with us all negate us door knocking each time we show up unless dogs require it.
We don't do Contracts in regards to missed cleans. This has burned us in the past, but we choose to keep our business one that is run on good relationships and everyone's situation is different. This keeps things more honest in every way. You feel like you can give us a real reason why you had to cancel and we can address based on the situation. Hard and strict cancellation policies fail to account for life's curveballs. We keep clients who respect our time and communicate if anything comes up that needs addressing. We try our very best to not charge for services not rendered. We both have worked for companies that do. Some of our clients choose to pay us in certain situations because they feel like they should when they cancel last minute. We SO appreciate this but usually want to try to reschedule for that same week so you get the service and we still get paid. If cancellations become too frequent we will bring it up and try to set an expectation before we ever let a client go, but if we had a schedule full of people who cancelled all the time and we didn't charge for it, we would be out of business pretty quick. We would rather work with folks who understand this and we give grace to those in extenuating circumstances.
Because we're so small, we don't offer Monthly cleans. This is a common practice among small teams because with Biweekly we keep a full schedule. Monthly cleans that get rescheduled create multiple blank spots on our schedule. We would need more strict policy if we were going to do monthly services and we have really come to enjoy how we run things and our clients have too. We currently offer Biweekly, and Weekly Services as of 2024.
